Hey, who put all of these politics and all of this depression in my fun fantasy romp?? That is not an appropriate answer. I apologize. Rewritten in the Stars includes thinly-veiled religious commentary, themes of isolation, impermanence, subjectivity, and companionship, and a cast of traumatized, emotionally confused teenagers who maybe shouldn't have been left unsupervised, and happen to have all involved themselves in a major political scandal, either directly or implicitly.
